what the moon + stone believes
The Moon + Stone Healing is a healing studio + learning space devoted to helping people come home to themselves—to explore their intuition, deepen their spiritual practice, and participate in their own healing with curiosity, courage + authenticity. I believe spiritual practice is the maintenance of the soul. The big moments matter—the revelations, synchronicities, breakthroughs + those 1% HOLY CRAP THAT IS INCREDIBLE experiences—but the real work is the other 99%: tending to yourself, staying connected, listening deeply + choosing, again and again, to live in alignment with who you are. My work is rooted in the wisdom + medicine of Mother Earth and in the understanding that healing happens through relationship: with our bodies, our energy, the earth, spirit + ourselves. Through energy healing, earth medicine, tarot, intuitive practice, shamanic journeying, meditation, ritual + spiritual mentorship, I offer tools for exploring both what is seen + what is unseen—and for bringing what we discover there into our actual, everyday lives. Above all, my work is not about giving you answers or asking you to hand your power to someone else. It is about helping you recognize, trust + strengthen your own capacity for healing, wisdom + connection.
Because spiritual work isn't about escaping your life. It's about learning how to live it.
always we begin again
When I first started seeking out meditation circles and energy healers and learning about my own intuition + gifts, it felt less like learning something new and more like remembering something I had somehow forgotten. Teaching became an extension of that remembering.
So much of my own path has been about letting go of my preconceptions about what this work is supposed to look like. And somewhere along the way, I started giving other people permission—not that it was ever mine to give, but I give it anyway—to trust themselves. To accept themselves as wise. To learn from their own wounds + their own medicine.
There isn't one right way to approach spiritual or energy work. My goal is to help people come home: to their bodies, their values, their grief, their joy, their practice, the present moment + ultimately, themselves. We get so caught up in doing things perfectly—meaning correctly, properly, by the book—that we forget to ask whether they are actually right for us. Perfect is boring, by the way. I am far more interested in maintenance than manifestation.
The sacred is found in the tending. Tending is how we return to the present moment. It's how we care for our energy, our relationships, our spiritual lives + ourselves. A garden doesn't grow because we manifested tomatoes. We water it. We weed it. We pay attention to the soil. We notice what needs pruning and what needs more room. We show up, over and over again. And eventually, something flowers.
I believe our spiritual lives work much the same way. Small movements, practiced over time, change us. And I've found that this tending becomes easier when we remember that we aren't separate from the natural world—that we, too, move through cycles and seasons. The moon waxes + wanes. The earth flowers, fruits, dies back + rests. There are seasons of beginning and seasons of letting go. Our lives have their own winters and springs, too. These are some of the ideas at the heart of everything I teach. I keep little nuggets and these are the ones that I live by:
Cycles are wiser than urgency.
Spirit speaks through everything—including our anger.
Healing happens in relationship.
The sacred lives in the ordinary.
Devotion matters more than perfection.
Community helps us remember who we are + why we're here.
And when we fall, we always begin again.
There is a beautiful idea from the Benedictine tradition: Always we begin again. It has endured because it names something deeply human. Most of us don't get a lightning-bolt moment where Great Spirit or Jesus or Zeus appears and suddenly everything makes sense. We don't usually become whole through one dramatic revelation. We become whole through returning. Again and again. Day after day. To the practices that ground us. The rituals that reconnect us. The people who remind us. The choices that bring us back into integrity. The ordinary acts of care that make up a life. We tend. We wander off. We notice….And we begin again.
the Moon + Stone Healing was founded in 2013…
The Moon + Stone Healing was birthed in Haddon Township, New Jersey, in 2013 by me, Angie Yingst. At the time, I had my Certified Crystal Healer certification, Reiki I training, several years of reading tarot + a dream of creating work that brought tarot and energy healing into relationship with the cycles of the moon + the Wheel of the Year. I held Moon Circles in my home, offered tarot readings + healing sessions, and began figuring out what the Moon + Stone wanted to become. Working from my home was a wonderful gift—and the beginning of everything.
In 2014, the Moon + Stone Healing moved with me to Central Pennsylvania and found a home at Alta View Wellness Center in Harrisburg. For more than a decade, I saw clients there for tarot readings, crystal healing + energy work and gathered people together for circles, classes + workshops. As my own practice and training deepened, my work expanded into shamanic practice + earth medicine. Over the years, I have taught hundreds of classes and workshops in crystal healing, energy work, intuitive + psychic development, moon cycles, shamanic journeying, ritual + creative visioning. Alongside my healing partner + Alta View owner Sharon Muzio, I have also facilitated healing circles and community gatherings, and in autumn 2021, I offered my first retreat.
And, like everything else in nature, the Moon + Stone keeps changing. As I grow + evolve, so does this work. These days, I am increasingly focused on teaching, writing, mentoring, creating meaningful spaces for spiritual practice + figuring out how to do all of that while being a good mamacita to my three earthside babies. Which, frankly, is spiritual practice too.
The Moon + Stone has never been about becoming someone else. It is about remembering who you are and building the practices that help you keep coming home to that person.
