Reiki Level I focuses on learning Reiki to work on yourself and to share with family and friends.

Reiki (ray-kee) is a gentle energy healing method practiced by placing the hands in a series of positions on or slightly above the body. Reiki promotes healing by activating the relaxation response and helping the body balance itself and its energy. It is a gentle, noninvasive modality that all age groups can easily learn. Although Reiki is taught in a day-long workshop format, it is the beginning of a lifelong healing relationship with energy healing that continues to teach and support the work of wellness. This hands-on Japanese natural healing system of energy balancing is used for stress reduction and relaxation and often accompanies other energy healing modalities. Reiki I is a foundational class for energy healing.

Reiki I focuses on:

  1. an Introduction to Reiki

  2. the history of Usui Reiki

  3. specific hand positions for self-care

  4. specific hands-on positions for working on others in a chair or on a massage table alone and with another person.

Each class offers a Usui First Degree Attunement, Comprehensive Reiki Manual, and Certification. Class held on Zoom.

class investment is $150
