Many moons ago, Tarot called me.
That is the only way I can describe it. the symbols beckoned me, confounded me, intrigued me, haunted me...Through the years, I picked up the Tarot, put it down again. I read in my closet, read when no one was home. I referenced books, hanging on the words of other Tarot writers and thinkers. I read about the history and the artwork. Certainly, I never considered myself a Tarot reader.
But the images were always part of who I was...at 18, a reader told me I had Empress energy, that I would always be the matriarch of my family. I have never forgotten what it was like to be part of the Tarot, to imagine myself in the Major Arcana, to embody the Empress. But for years, I doubted and second-guessed my own knowledge of the Tarot's words, symbols, and images. Then, after coming back to my spirituality after years of grief and suffering, I found that everything clicked. It was like I could suddenly read and think in a language I had been studying. I began to own the fact that I had been reading for TWENTY years without trusting my own interpretations. I WAS STILL ON-BOOK, as I call it. (Still reading with a tarot book open next to me.)
So, one day I just put it away.
I put books down, and began trusting myself. Then, like a wind blowing through my ear, speaking the language of the Tarot, the cards came to life. The Empress, the Magician, the Fool danced together in a scene I understood. The cards morphed and changed, and became my own symbols. I developed my own relationship with the cards. I disagreed with some of my beloved tarot writers (and for my inner Hierophant, it seemed like sacrilege), and developed my own meaning for cards. My psychic, intuitive, and empathic abilities emerged from that one act of trusting myself to know what I know. This is the journey I bring to my Tarot classes. Not of the all-knowing tarot reader, but of one who struggled to understand and trust myself.
I have taught Tarot since 2013 with different iterations of this class. I bring these questions to you:
Have you been drawn to Tarot?
Do you have a Tarot deck and don't know where to start?
Have you been reading a while and still not confident enough to read for others?
Do you want to deepen your own relationship to the cards + Spirit?
I am a professional tarot reader and I will guide you through Tarot's rich symbolic and spiritual language. The Complete Tarot is a class for beginners, and seasoned readers those who want to deepen their relationship to the cards. I teach you how to use Tarot as a tool to listen and communicate with Spirit, shed light on the energy. We go through each card as well as learn layouts, techniques, and tools for understanding the Tarot.

How it works
All the classes will be pre-recorded. For the Live Classes, I drip out a class a week. They will up in the classroom on Wednesday morning starting January 1st, 2025. These classes will be released once a week for 9 weeks. The next round of live classes will begin on January 1, 2025. If you enrolled for the Self-Study course, you already have access to the classes. They go up right away and you can work at your own pace. You can still enroll for that option, which would give you immediate access for the previous class (2023), but not access to the live meetings with Angie each week. For Self-Study and Live, you will be added to the online classroom in Ruzuku, so please allow some time (1-2 days) before getting your invitation when you enroll. You have lifetime access to the videos and materials.
There are technically two classes per week. One is the lesson itself, then the second is the lesson on your journal work. This is learning to read different Tarot Layouts. For the Live Classes, we will meet live once a week. In my next live class, they will be held Tuesdays at 7pm ET. During our 1.5-2 hour live meeting, I demonstrate live readings of your journal work for the week. This is the time I will take questions and discuss any of the material. During this meeting, you have the opportunity to dig deep into the material with me. I might divide you into private rooms to practice with another student live, so bring your cards. These are held in Zoom meetings. For Self-Study, you can watch the past lives to see questions asked, and live demonstrations of readings. If you are a student of the Live Classes and cannot attend the Q&As, you can always submit a question or ask for a demo reading prior to the next live. I do live readings for each student at least one time per class.
All students, Live and Self-Study, will be added to the The Complete Tarot private Facebook group. There I answer questions, you can connect with other Tarot readers, and practice with other students.
personal work + Journal Work
You will also be assigned journal work, which will be all about reading Tarot. I will not grade or look at your journal. This is strictly for your own growth as a tarot reader. This is a shame-free zone. So, when we do our weekly check-ins, we are not going to shame ourselves or others for not pulling cards. Life happens!
Each week, we will learn a new layout, which will be your journal work--to practice your layout at home for yourself. To get the full potential and experience of this class, I suggest thinking of this class as an immersion class. The journal work immerses you every day in the Tarot. I journal my tarot readings every day, so I assign and encourage my students to do the same. I can only teach you the way I learned and living Tarot is a great way to learn.
In addition, I strongly encourage you to find a Tarot Study Partner. I can pair you with another student in your time zone to practice reading tarot with each other, meeting on Zoom or another video app to practice the weekly reading assignments. (You can totally choose your own too!) This will not be graded or checked on, but it is a wonderful way to practice and learn tarot. I encourage everyone to be really open and encouraging, gently helping each other interpret the cards, checking with the book, discussing the cards. It is especially cool to watch how the cards shift and change through the weeks. Some people find doing this through voice texts, emails, or meeting in person if you are close enough. However you do it is great—as long as it works for you.

Beyond the amazing live demonstrations and Q&As, I have created some awesome bonuses for this course.

Frequently Asked QuestionS
Do I receive a Certification?
You do not need a certification to read tarot, but it is a way to show future clients that you have taken your studies seriously. If you finish the classes, you can apply for a Certificate of Completion. For certification, I will pair you (or you pair yourself) with another student, so you can trade readings with each other on Zoom. Either you can record it or I can kibitz on your Zoom call (kibitz means to look over your shoulder). If you do not have access to Zoom, you can use mine. I will set up a time for me to observe your reading. I also have some brief questions about the class itself, and I will ask you to write up a little something something and discuss your experience learning Tarot. I will not grade grammar; if you are uncomfortable with writing, you can audio record it for me.
When does registration end?
Live class registration technically ends December 31st, but just know the book will arrive later than the start of class. You can also order it for overnight delivery on Amazon. Note: you also have access to a pdf copy of the book through the course. I hold live classes once a year. Registration for the next live class will open December 12th and ends December 31st.
What is the difference between Live Classes & Self-Study classes?
Self-Study has access and registration 100% of the time. It is the same price, but does not include a live component. The Self-Study students get access to the last classes offered live, so they watch recordings of the live meetings rather than attend live. I do give people who registered for the Self-Study between Live Classes access to the next Live Class. But if you are someone who wants no live component, you can sign up and have access to all the classes from my last live class in 2023. My Self-Study students love joining the live class, because they get access to Q&As, etc.
If you have already attended class and want a refresher for an incredible discount, look at the Legacy Learner section.
When do I get access to the course?
I will send an email with access to the course within a day or two of registering. Then for the live course, you will be receiving the recorded video of the class and another video of the journal work for the week. Yippee!!
What is a Legacy Learner?
A Legacy Learner is someone who has already taken a past version of my class—in-person or online. Honestly, I am always changing and evolving my courses, and this is so evident in the last Live class I held in 2023 where I created so much new content, it was ridiculous! I mean, bonus videos up the wazoo. Legacy Learners pay a seriously discounted price ($100) and will be added to the Complete Tarot Facebook Group.
How much does it Cost?
Your investment for this course is $500. If you already have a workbook, awesome. If not, please check out the Tarot section of my shop where I offer some discounts on books, tarot decks, and all the necessary items for this class. If you cannot pay in one lump sum, I have a two month or three month payment plan. For the two-month payment plan, you will be charged $250 at check out. Then invoiced next month for $250. For three months, you will be charged $150 at check out and then invoiced $175 for the next two months.
If you do not pay the invoice within a week, access to the materials will be revoked. If these options still do not work out, please contact me at angie@themoonandstone.com to work out a payment plan. You can check out my Terms page about refunds: The Boring Stuff
