Tarot is my way in—into the journey landscape, into the shamanic otherworld, into the soul, into Spirit. Tarot intersects the creative symbols of Spirit and the soul through archetypes with the native wisdom we carry in our own dna. Tarot is a touchstone for me—one that grounds me on my spiritual journey. I don’t read Tarot to fortune tell, rather it is a way for me to read the energy of a time and space. I see my trajectory from a distance, and then can course correct or allow if I am not pleased with the energy.

Tarot is a language and, in this way, all readings are a dialogue between Spirit, the reader and the seeker. For this New Year, I wanted to offer something you could use all year. This year, I am offering a limited number of New Year Insight readings.

New Year Insight readings include a 13 card pull—one for each month, plus a year overview based on your birthday/numerology for this year. You can also ask a specific question around the upcoming year. This question will be answered in its own audio and with its own reading. These readings are done via audio and put up on Sound Cloud with the option of downloading your individual, private reading. Each month will be accessible individually, so you can access it on the month covered, or listen to them all in a row. Angie will also work with your yearly card as an archetype, coming up with a word of the year. Beyond the Tarot, Angie will combine oracle cards to give you earth medicine guides for your year—animal, stone, and plant. After your reading, Angie will create a medicine pouch with plant, animal, and crystal medicine to hold the energy of that work for the entire year. You can see examples of the packages created last year with a hand-painted 4”x6” watercolor of your animal guide with a medicine bundle of three crystals and herbs.

For your reading, Angie will go into meditation and create sacred space through smudging and using plant medicine, cleansing the energy with drum, then pulling cards. She will create a crystal grid incorporating your cards. This will be photographed and emailed to you as a touchstone for your year. You can print it out and place it on your altar or sacred space. She will use an elk hide as the background unless you would like a non-animal or vegan photograph. Include that in your notes section.

In the notes section of your order, please include your email, name, birthdate with year, and your question about the new year. For these new year’s readings, I will create a sacred space, then throw cards. I work with both Tarot and oracle cards. You will receive a jpg with your reading, and the link to your individual audio readings throughout the year. You will be given specific rituals and ideas of working and shifting the energies that arose in your reading. Readings are sent out in the form of an audio (accessible on SoundCloud) of the reading and a pdf with a photo of your spread. Angie will mail your medicine pouch. All readings will be done in the week between Christmas and the New Year.
