Cord cutting can be done in many ways from asking Archangel Michael or other spirit guide to remove any cords to seeing a shamanic practitioner to remove any cords attached to you to this simple candle ritual. In curandera work, we use an egg limpia or egg cleansing to remove cords.

Cord cutting can be an effective and useful form of energetic cleansing, particularly if you feel attached to other’s pain and cannot separate yourself from your work, your clients, your friend’s issues, etc. Most often, cord cutting is used to help separate or “cut cords” from unhealthy ties between you and another person, place, or thing.
