the complete tarot Course
How this page works
This page is your hub for all your course work. I will post videos in here for you to download. Information. And instructional videos about different reading layouts. I will organize by the class.
How the class works
In this class, you will receive your workbook via mail before the start of class. You will need to purchase a Rider-Waite deck. (And no, I do not waver on that point.) I want us all to be on the same page for learning Tarot, since different decks have different interpretations.
Our course is offered through Zoom, which is a platform for online learning. We will have a Facebook group where I can pop in and answer questions, where we can put our daily readings/insights, and anything Tarot related that comes up in the nine weeks of session. I will also be holding Live Q&A sessions, and live tarot reading demonstrations for you during the run of the course. These Live Q&As will be accessible to you later in the FB group. All of the classes will be saved for viewing later. I will create a private page where you can access all those classes anytime you would like.
When the course begins, we will meet twice a week. This is an intensive, but you have access to the material and are welcome to download the videos from the website. You can choose to join us live, or watch on the replay. It will be in a Webinar format, and we will start with the class and I will answer any questions throughout the class and in the Q&A after. We will meet once a week to talk about your journal work and what is arising for you.
You will also be assigned journal work, which will be all about reading Tarot. I will not grade or look at your journal. This is strictly for your own growth as a tarot reader. Each week, we will learn a new layout, which will be your journal work--to practice your layout at home for yourself. To get the full potential and experience of this class, I suggest thinking of this class as an immersion class. The journal work immerses you every day in the Tarot. As I journal my tarot readings every day, I assign and encourage my students to do the same.

Class 1: Introduction to your Tarot Deck
Class one is an introduction to your deck and the history of the Tarot. We talk about what it is like to be psychic and what we use Tarot for. I encourage you to pull out your cards and look through them as I am talking and guiding you in this Introduction to Tarot. I use the Rider-Waite-Smith deck and expect all my students to have a deck on-hand for this class. We learn how to care for our deck and some prominent symbols in Tarot like color, numerology and the elements. This corresponds with pages 1-10 in your workbook--The Complete Tarot. Please follow along in there, and I encourage you to write in your book, take notes and dive right into your tarot workbook
