Many moons ago, Tarot called me.

That is the only way I can describe it. the symbols beckoned me, confounded me, intrigued me, haunted me...Through the years, I picked up the Tarot, put it down again. I read in my closet, read when no one was home. I referenced books, hanging on the words of other Tarot writers and thinkers. I read about the history and the artwork. Certainly, I never considered myself a Tarot reader.

But the images were always part of who I was...at 18, a reader told me I had Empress energy, that I would always be the matriarch of my family. I have never forgotten what it was like to be part of the Tarot, to imagine myself in the Major Arcana, to embody the Empress. But for years, I doubted and second-guessed my own knowledge of the Tarot's words, symbols, and images. Then, after coming back to my spirituality after years of grief and suffering, I found that everything clicked. It was like I could suddenly read and think in a language I had been studying. I began to own the fact that I had been reading for TWENTY years without trusting my own interpretations. I WAS STILL ON-BOOK, as I call it. (Still reading with a tarot book open next to me.)

So, one day I just put it away.

I put books down, and began trusting myself. Then, like a wind blowing through my ear, speaking the language of the Tarot, the cards came to life. The Empress, the Magician, the Fool danced together in a scene I understood. The cards morphed and changed, and became my own symbols. I developed my own relationship with the cards. I disagreed with some of my beloved tarot writers (and for my inner Hierophant, it seemed like sacrilege), and developed my own meaning for cards. My psychic, intuitive, and empathic abilities emerged from that one act of trusting myself to know what I know. This is the journey I bring to my Tarot classes. Not of the all-knowing tarot reader, but of one who struggled to understand and trust myself.

I have taught Tarot since 2013 with different iterations of this class. I bring these questions to you:

  • Have you been drawn to Tarot?

  • Do you have a Tarot deck and don't know where to start?

  • Have you been reading a while and still not confident enough to read for others?

  • Do you want to deepen your own relationship to the cards and to Spirit?

I am a professional tarot reader and I will guide you through Tarot's rich symbolic and spiritual language. The Complete Tarot is a class for beginners, and seasoned readers those who want to deepen their relationship to the cards. I teach you how to use Tarot as a tool to listen and communicate with Spirit, shed light on the energy. We go through each card as well as learn layouts, techniques, and tools for understanding the Tarot. My Tarot Workbook--the Complete Tarot--is included in the price of full series.

How it works

All the classes will be recorded and up in the classroom on Monday morning, starting May 1st. These classes will be released once a week for 9 weeks. Everyone will be added you to the online classroom, so please allow some time (1-2 days) before getting your invitation when you enroll. You have lifetime access to the videos and materials.

There are technically two classes per week. One is the lesson itself, then the second is the lesson on your journal work. This is learning to read different Tarot Layouts. Then we will meet live on Tuesdays at 12pm ET. During our 1.5-2 hour live meeting, Angie will do a live readings of your journal work for the week, demonstrating how to do readings. This is the time I will take questions and discuss any of the material. During this meeting, you have the opportunity to dig deep into the material with Angie. Angie might divide you into private rooms to practice with another student live, so bring your cards.

personal work + Journal Work

You will also be assigned journal work, which will be all about reading Tarot. I will not grade or look at your journal. This is strictly for your own growth as a tarot reader. This is a shame-free zone. So, when we do our weekly check-ins, we are not going to shame ourselves or others for not pulling cards. Life happens!

Each week, we will learn a new layout, which will be your journal work--to practice your layout at home for yourself. To get the full potential and experience of this class, I suggest thinking of this class as an immersion class. The journal work immerses you every day in the Tarot. I journal my tarot readings every day, so I assign and encourage my students to do the same. I can only teach you the way I learned and living Tarot is a great way to learn.

We will meet Tuesday at 12pm ET. During our 2 hour live meeting, Angie will do a live readings of your journal work for the week, demonstrating how to do readings. This is the time I will take questions and discuss any of the material.

In addition, I strongly encourage you to apply for a Tarot Study Partner. I will pair you with another student in your time zone to practice reading tarot with each other, meeting on Zoom or another video app to practice the weekly reading assignments. (You can totally choose your own too!) This will not be graded or checked on, but it is a wonderful way to practice and learn tarot. I encourage everyone to be really open and encouraging, gently helping each other interpret the cards, checking with the book, discussing the cards. It is especially cool to watch how the cards shift and change through the weeks. Some people find doing this through voice texts, emails, or meeting in person if you are close enough. However you do it is great—as long as it works for you.

Certification

If you finish the classes, you can apply for a Certificate of Completion.

For certification, I will pair you with another student, so you can trade readings with each other on Zoom. Either you can record it or I can kibitz (look over your shoulder). If you do not have access to Zoom, you can use mine. I will set up a time for me to observe your reading. I also have some brief questions about the class itself, and I will ask you to write up a little something something and discuss your experience learning Tarot. I will not grade grammar, and if you are not comfortable with writing, you can audio record it for me.

Certifications are something I am just starting, so this is subject to change.

Cost

Your investment for this course is $400. (If you registered for the Self-Study Complete Tarot between January 2023 and April 2023, you will be sent an invite to register. You do not have to pay for this class.) If you already have a workbook, awesome. (Choose The Class Only in the checkout.) If you cannot pay in one lump sum, I have a two month or three month payment plan.

Please note it works out to be a bit more with a payment plan to cover the fees (this is essentially a personal loan from me to you.) For the two-month payment plan, you will be charged $200 at check out. Then invoiced next month for $220. For three-month, you will be charged $150 at check out, and then invoiced $150 for the next two months.

If you do not pay the invoice within a week, access to the materials will be revoked. If these options still do not work out, please contact me at angie@themoonandstone.com to work out a payment plan. You can check out my Terms page about refunds: The Boring Stuff

When does registration end?
