Hello, Beautiful!
It’s me, Angie, your cruise director.
You have landed on our new Membership page. I thought it might be helpful to have a private space to share my work and offerings with you each month, like the monthly readings, associated layouts, workshops, information, events, invitations, and whatnot for our members. What I love about the blog-like setup is that you can comment, reply, and have a conversation with others on each post. But this is strictly Membership related stuff on this blog.
This space is password protected, and I ask that you do not share that password with people outside our group. That excluded spouses and kids, or anyone you share a home with. I’m even okay if like, your dear sister absolutely NEEDS to read something, but can’t afford to do the $20/month. Share the piece. Just let me know if that is the case, so we can be on the same page with things.
Moderators
This is just such an awesome pic of Suzanne Pfister, one of our moderators and a member of the Moon + Stone Collective Healing, which is an idea that hasn’t quite taken form yet.
Julie Taylor, one of our moderators, offered some writing on the Moon + Stone blog during Skull week in September. She runs her own group on FB called Stone Spelling and Witchery.
Through my absence on Facebook in the early half of 2024, I had two amazing women step up to the plate to keep our Moon + Stone Membership Facebook group active, facilitate the circles, and hold some of our cool extracurriculars like Craft Night and the Death Cafe. They are OGs in this membership thing, so you know, they know stuff.
These amazing women—Suzanne Pfister and Julie Taylor (you can read about them here) kept the lights on for us. As I anticipate some upcoming classes and growth, I thought it would be great to formally call them moderators of the group. They are my extra set of eyes and ears. They host (and will continue to host) their own circles and discussions, share their work, and help me answer any questions inthe group. I will be jumping into the FB group as often as possible, but if I miss something, they might answer the question for you, or direct me to answer it, if I missed it. Give them big hugs if you see them, because they are AMAZING!
Some things to keep in mind, though, is that if you want a specific answer from me in the Facebook group, tag me with an @angie, and then click my profile. I miss so much, y’all, so just tag tag me. Both Julie and Suzanne are both ACMs/CCPs through HMCA, and have studied Tarot with me, so they have some skillz. They will answer questions based on the curriculum we all know and love, but also they will have their own spin on things, and I encourage them to share their own approaches to things.
If you have any questions about classes, products, orders, etc., please send them to support@themoonandstone.com
The Circle
Julie and Suzanne have been turning on the teapot on Tuesday mornings at 930am ET for the Circle, our weekly check-in gathering for our group. This is a time to share about what’s been going on for you spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. It is a safe space to share. Nothing is recorded or kept, so you can know it will stay safe.

Rules
Our rules are our rules and mostly rules of life. Don’t be an asshole to other people. Be kind. Dammit, take care of others. Rules are always a little loosey goosey with me, because at my heart, I am a punk rock kid who can be a tad defiant with things are too strict.
Rules of Facebook that I think can be applied in this space:
Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group. As we say in recovery, “What you see here, what you hear here, let it stay here.” And then everyone shouts “HEAR HEAR!”
No hate speech or bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. If you feel I have crossed a line in a post, please please please reach out. Don’t swallow that poison. Tell me. I am not above mistakes and want to correct them ASAP!
No promotions or spam
This is not to say I don’t want to promote your businesses. I absolutely do. We have a monthly post in the Facebook group for your work, but if there is something coming up you think the group would benefit from knowing about. Send it to me or one of the moderators and we can post it. I like to say in shared space, Give more than you take in this group. Self-promotion, advertisements, spam and irrelevant links for outside products in which you profit aren't allowed.
Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a Welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
Abide other experiences
No giving advice or telling people what to do unless it is asked for. No feedback unless requested. Proper acknowledgement of people's experience is I see you or I hear you. Or simply thank you.
Distill your thoughts.
Be specific + direct in your posts so it doesn’t get overlooked. If your post is long enough to require scrolling or opening in a new window, it may be ignored and/or removed. Distill what you need feedback on.
Pixie’s Golden Rule
Know what you need. Ask for what you want.
Sharing
When we are sharing about our wild experiences, journeys, dreams, psychic experiences, meditations and more. Someone may have an experience you haven't had. Validate and support, rather than skeptically shoot down people's experiences.
No healing work or readings without permissions
No healing work, Reiki, sending love without permission. We allow people to do their own work. If you are getting psychic information for someone, the proper way to ask, is to say simply, "I am getting some messages for you. Do you want to hear them now?"
